Doing web browsing I know my destination port needs to bathe reserve port up eighty and I know my source for some random port I'm going to come up with so the session layer comes up the number the transport layer just gives it a place to that that number a box a source and destination port number the transport layer can also handle fragmentation what do I mean about this well for example arm some transport layer protocols work by saying hey CPU when you got someday here's what you can do just sent me a constant stream of data know whatever your application is I don't care what it is I don't care beds HTTP your email or whatever just send that be down to me is a constant stream of ones and zeros and I will periodically fragmented you know and I will take that stream in 10 than put it into a block put my transport header in front of it and send it out and I'll take the next 10 to 10 put intoa block but my transport layer header in front of it and send it out other things that reside at the transport layer will say.
