A Tennessee graduate who finished third in the NCAA Outdoor Championships last June, Price has been running for the Knoxville Track Club, an enclave that includes many former Volunteer runners, including NCAA champion Phoebe Wright, Price's former teammate and workout partner.

"We call ourselves the post grads," Price said. "We run the same workouts we did when we were running for the university."

Price, a two time Nike Outdoor National Champion in the 800 and a three time PIAA Class AAA champ while at Easton, is still enjoying amateur status but is shopping around for a professional shoe contract.

Billiga Nike Free Run "I have to show some consistency in breaking the two minute barrier (in the 800) and then it will happen," Price said. "I don't think I'm an 800 specialist but that's what I'm running now. Once I sign a contract, then I'd like to explore moving up to the 1,500 meters or even dropping down to the 400."

She's getting close. Olympic team. Saturday although she's not sure which squad she'll run on in the event. Both teams will run in the same 3,200 relay heat.

Work is another matter. Price served as a tutor for the Tennessee athletic department during the indoor season but gave that up once the outdoor season started.

North Hunterdon's Morgan Harvey, the 2012 Express Times Girls Track Athlete of the Year, will be in the high school girls 400 meter intermediate field on Thursday morning.

Also in the field is defending champion Fedrick Dacres of Calabar High in Kingston, Jamaica.

Erik Adamcik, a senior at North Hunterdon, is in the high school boys pole vault field. Adamcik cleared 14 7 last week, the top vault in the region this spring.

Lehigh and Lafayette will also bring several individuals and some relay teams in preparation for the Patriot League Championships, which will be held May 3 4 at Lehigh. Moravian won't be at Penn because the Greyhounds will be involved in the Landmark Conference Championships at Goucher College.
